You Can't Say Dallas Doesn't Love You

Recent commissioned art: Corvette Summer Sixty-Six

1950 Chevrolet

A work in progress: You Can't Say Dallas Doesn't Love You

This is the second painting in my naked history series depicting famous and historical events disrobed of fleshly humanity. The first painting, "1978 Belmont Stakes", can be purchased as a gallery print today for $25. Smaller versions and sizes available. Please inquire.

Ink portrait titled: Cotton Lullaby

This piece is an example of an ink portrait and measures 16" x 20". The reference was taken from a photograph and recomposed with a separate background of folded sheets. The image was then retouched for re-shading and then used as the final reference for the hand inking. The final product resulted in a physical portrait and a B+W repainted digital image file. Prices for a 16" x 20" ink portrait are $150.

My Philosophies and Thoughts on Life

-It is not that something is impossible for a person, but that they are unaware of all the possibilities to make it happen.

-A popular saying is that freedom isn't free. I disagree. Freedom by definition is the absence of rules, cost, or penalties. Slavery, on the other hand will cost a person everything. Therefore, slavery isn't free and freedom costs nothing. I think what they really mean is "American Freedom isn't Free", which stands to reason as the country with the largest codified law arrangement varying from nation, state, county, or municipality.

-The quality of life is not proportionate to how much money you spend.

-You have to experience a lot of weakness to become strong.

-Instead of becoming a martyr for Islam and blowing thyself up along with a few other bystanders, why not put forth positive compassion towards every single person you meet as if they were like your own brother. Then at the end of the day if you have not gained anything from your efforts of goodness, you will have then truly become a righteous martyr and saved the lives of countless others.

-You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

-Simplicity is the best design to get us through our day and complexity should be reserved for sports and leisure pursuits.

-I could have had a much easier existence if Walt Disney had made himself dictator over America, but then I would have nothing to compare a theme park to.

-Changing the past cannot be accomplished by destroying the future.

-The first thing I noticed in my adolescence was that someone had apparently greased the rungs of my ladder to success.
